about food cutie

A/S/L – 25/F/Detroit

My name is Colleen. I’m a 25-year-old in Detroit who spends days at an ad agency, analyzing website data and the rest of the time prefers to gallivant. I like cooking, eating, drinking, schmoozing, holding crow pose, and making things.

My curiosity for food comes from my mother who never cooked the same exact thing twice. That’s not to say it was always a beautiful, drool-inducing dish, but she always had fun with it. She’s also known for her disdain for picky eaters. Life is an adventure, eat it!

I’m lucky to say I grew up in a house where I was exposed to many different varieties of foods and I can appreciate all. Here I’m focusingĀ on vegan, plant-based foods.

You’ll find some at-home experiments, my favorite veg dishes out and around Detroit, and the occasional shout out to my cat. Sometimes I don’t write about food. But it’s all Food Cutie.

Thanks for coming and stick around. Please share your thoughts, comment and connect!

This update was fueled by pomegranate seeds and coffee.
